Board of Directors

 Brad Donaldson 

Dr. Brad Donaldson was appointed to his first 3-year term on ABSA’s Board commencing December 2022. He was named Lethbridge College’s ninth President and CEO in August 2022. He has more than 17 years of experience in the Alberta post-secondary system. Prior to academic leadership, He spent more than 20 years working in engineering and in the global manufacturing sector.

 Dustin Medori

Dustin was appointed to his first term on ABSA’s Board commencing in June 2026. He is the Executive Officer for Academy Group of Companies in Onoway. Academy is involved in the construction of pressure vessels, repairs and alterations, pipelines, and pipe spool.

Rochelle Pancoast

Rochelle Pancoast was appointed to her first term on ABSA’s Board commencing in September 2025. She is currently employed as the Managing Director, Energy, Land & Environment for the City of Medicine Hat. She has previously held senior leader positions with TransAlta including as a Managing Director for the company’s wind, gas, and renewables operations.

Joy Romero

Joy Romero was appointed to her first 3 year term on ABSA's Board commencing in July 2024. She is a Professional Engineer (Metallurgical) with over 30 years of experience in the energy sector. She is currently Executive Advisor, Innovation at Canadian Natural Resources Limited. She is also President of the Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN), the vice-chair of the petroleum Technology Alliance of Canada (PTAC), and a Member Lead for the Pathways Net Zero Technology Development Plan.

Trevor Williams

Trevor Williams was appointed by the Minister to his first term on ABSA’s Board commencing October 2022. He has a diverse array of experience leading large scale chemical operations for global companies and the execution of strategic plans to support the growth of the business, its operations and people. He is Senior Vice President Manufacturing and Distribution at CF Industries Holdings Inc.
