Owner-user Electronic Summary Reports

Companies with an Owner-user Pressure Equipment Integrity Management program are required to provide a pressure equipment inspection report to ABSA on a regular basis. ABSA has developed an Electronic Summary Report (ESR) to provide owner-users a more streamlined method of reporting inspections.

Receiving & Submitting Electronic Summary Reports

Owner-user clients will receive their Electronic Summary Reports (ESR) at the start of each new year and are expected to return their ESR to ABSA quarterly if inspections have occurred. They can forward their updates to the attention of: Owner-user Inspection Reports.

A report of pressure equipment due for inspection will be produced from the ABSA database and sent out in a Microsoft Excel format. Clients can populate the file with a summary of their inspection details and forward the report back to ABSA for updating. The client will then receive a new report reflecting their updates to their equipment.
